On 1 July 2019 Mr. Vasif Talibov, Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic met with Vladislav Kanevski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine.

Chairman of the Supreme Assembly expressed his satisfaction over meeting with the ambassador in the autonomous republic.

Mr. Chairman noted that despite being in the blockade regime, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is completely provided with local production and food security.

Noting that the volume of economic and trade relations between Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Ukraine has been continuing with increasing dynamics, the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly spoke about the cooperation between higher and secondary schools and underlined the importance of expanding relations.

Vladislav Kanevski said they attached great importance to the visit to Nakhchivan and thanked for the attention.

Speaking about the bilateral relations between the two countries, the ambassador assessed the development of relations with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic as an important factor in this regard and said he would increase his efforts in the upcoming period.
