On 10 December 2019, Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Mr. Vasif Talibov met with Serjan Abdikarimov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to our country.

The Chairman of the Supreme Assembly welcomed the guest and congratulated him on his appointment as ambassador. Speaking about the territory of Nakhchivan, its population and the way of its development, the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly noted the development of various sectors of the economy of autonomous republic. It was noted that the autonomous republic provides itself with food and industrial products and has export potential.

Serjan Abdikarimov thanked for the warm welcome and expressed his satisfaction with the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan and his visit to Nakhchivan.  Speaking  about the existing relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan aambassador noted that they attach great importance to the development of relations with the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan and efforts will be increased in this regard.
